This project has been an interesting one for me. At the start of the year, children’s books was something that I could see myself creating but as I have progressed through this module, I have definitely come across some hurdles and found that my style is not necessarily suited to children’s illustrations.
My end product is not what I had envisioned at the beginning of the module and with more planning and experiments, I think I may have reached an end result that I was more proud of. Especially the front cover, my idea for the front cover was just something that for some reason that I could not get down on paper. This is something that I am disappointed with as with a book, the cover sells it, its the first thing a buyer sees and I don't believe my for cover to be a good reflection of my work within the book.
However, with all this being said, I am happy with the story I created I would like to go back to this with a fresh and new set of illustrations to accompany it.
